Dirty Water in – Clean Water out
During filtering operation, dirty pool water is pumped into the ceramic membranes through a feedwater inlet. The ceramic membranes are designed as a dead-end design with several parallel flow channels. This design ensures that no contaminated water can pass through the filter as this makes up a mechanical barrier against micro-organisms. The porous pool filter will retain particles, bacteria, and protozoa, while clean water permeates its surface.
The ceramic membranes operate within microfiltration and remove all harmful elements, including bacteria, viruses, protozoa, crypto, and other hazardous elements.

Due to a compact design, one membrane has a filtration area of 7 m2 for a Ø146 x 800 mm membrane. This compact design makes the ceramic membranes ideal for system installation or upgrades in limited spaces or difficult access as a whole water filtration system can fit through a standard doorway.
Once cleaned by the membranes, the clean pool water will flow out of the feedwater outlet.
